Fall Grants

Applications for the Women to Women Giving Circle Grants (focus on women and children), Youth Engaged in Philanthropy Grants (focus on youth) and Environment & Nature Grants are open in the fall.

Applications for 2024 fall grants cycle has closed. Applications will next be accepted in September 2024 for next calendar year. The fall grant application cycle will move from October to September starting with the fall 2025 cycle.

WOMEN TO WOMEN GIVING CIRCLE GRANTS

Grants available for projects and programs that encourage advancement and opportunities for local area women and children and may be limited in scope to particular area concern

  • The W2W grant focus for 2024 was "Breaking Down Barriers and Challenges for Families – Food, Housing, Transportation and Childcare" in our community (McLean, DeWitt, Livingston and Logan counties); applicants are encouraged, but not required, to collaborate with another nonprofit organization on the grant program
  • 2024 Women to Women grant applications are no longer being accepted.
  • Typically, grant periods for Women to Women grants run from February 1 of one year to January 31 of the next year (please check your grant agreement for full details); all money must be expended by the January 31 deadline; final reports are due no later than February 28 following the grant cycle
  • The 2024 Women to Women Grant Information Sheet has details about grant focus, collaboration, dates/deadlines
  • Women to Women requires applicants to use a common budget form; you will be asked to download the form when completing the application
  • Starting with the 2024 grant cycle, grant final reports will be available through the online grant application system; grant final reports from previous years may be downloaded from our Resources page under either the Women to Women or Grants tabs

YOUTH ENGAGED IN PHILANTHROPY (YEP) GRANTS

Grants available for projects and programs that focus on youth or significantly impact youth

  • 2024 Youth Engaged in Philanthropy grant applications are no longer being accepted.
  • Typically, grant periods for Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP) grants run from February 1 of one year to January 31 of the next year (please check your grant agreement for full details); all money must be expended by the January 31 deadline; follow-up reports are due no later than February 28 following the grant cycle
  • The 2024 Youth Engaged in Philanthropy Grant Information Sheet has details about grant focus, dates/deadlines
  • Youth Engaged in Philanthropy requires applicants to use a common budget form; you will be asked to download the form when completing the application

ENVIRONMENT & NATURE GRANTS (NEW in 2024 Grant Cycle)

Grants focus on improving the environment and on enhancing and beautifying our surroundings

  • 2024 Environment & Nature grant applications are no longer being accepted. 
  • Typically, grant periods for Environment & Nature grants run from February 1 of one year to January 31 of the next year (please check your grant agreement for full details); all money must be expended by the January 31 deadline; follow-up reports are due no later than February 28 following the grant cycle
  • 2024 Environment & Nature Grant Information Sheet has details about grant focus, dates/deadlines
  • Environment & Nature grants require applicants to use a common budget form; you will be asked to download the form when completing the application
