Nonprofits Workshop – August 12, 2026

The Nonprofits Workshop, presented by PNC Financial Services Group, will be during the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 12, at ISU’s Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main St., Normal.

The “Healthy Boards, Healthy Orgs” workshop is recommended for staff, board members and volunteers of regional nonprofit organizations. After attendees register for the workshop, they will be asked to complete an online survey to help us better tailor the workshop to local needs.

Through facilitated discussions with representative nonprofit leaders, individual reflection and peer-to-peer interaction, participants will explore board recruitment, nonprofit board roles and responsibilities within the structure, and evaluating impact, planning action and key takeaways. Christina Schulz, Director of Heartland Community College’s Business & Industry Solutions, will facilitate the workshop.

Cost is $20 per person or $30 for 2 people from the same nonprofit organization. Online registration to open soon.
