1998 Society

In 1998, a group of community-minded leaders established Illinois Prairie Community Foundation to create a lasting resource for the people of Central Illinois. Today, The 1998 Society honors those who share that visionary spirit by including IPCF in their estate plans or by establishing an endowed fund.

Membership in The 1998 Society is open to anyone who establishes an endowed fund or makes a future gift to IPCF through their will, trust, or other planned giving vehicle. These generous individuals are ensuring that the causes they care about — education, health, the environment, the arts, and more — will thrive for generations to come.

You become a member of The 1998 Society when you:

  • Include IPCF in your will or trust
  • Name IPCF as a beneficiary of your IRA, insurance policy, or charitable trust
  • Create an endowed fund at IPCF
  • Complete a simple Letter of Intent to document your gift
