Challenges for Unhoused Families Topic of W2W Spring Forum

A public forum about challenges faced by local unhoused families will be hosted by the Women to Women Giving Circle Tuesday, April 9, at the ISU Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main St., Normal. The forum is free and open to the public.

“Challenges for Unhoused Families in Our Community” will be the topic of this event which begins at 4:30 p.m. and will end at 6 p.m.

Panelists will be:

  • Janet Hood, Housing Stability Navigator, Mid Central Community Action
  • Kayla Arnolts, Regional Homeless Services & Program Support Specialist, Regional Office of Education #17
  • Julie Burke, Irving School Social Worker and Homeless Liaison Specialist for District 87
  • Audrey Cail, Director of Client Services, Home Sweet Home Ministries
  • Caroline McLeese, Pathway of Hope Case Manager, Pontiac Salvation Army

Mary Campbell, co-founder of Labyrinth and Dreams Are Possible, will moderate the panel discussion. A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.
