The Richard & Lynn Alderman All-State Band Scholarship will be awarded each year to all PTHS seniors who were selected for All-State Band during any of their PTHS years, who timely apply for the scholarship by the deadline established by PTHS, and who have unmet financial need (as determined by each student's college of choice). After the scholarship deadline has passed, PTHS will determine the scholarship pool from the Endowment's annual gift. Each senior's college will receive that student's pro-rated share of that year's scholarship pool, which sum will be applied to that student's account at his/her college of choice.

The Frank & Elaine Dillow All-State Vocal Scholarship will be awarded each year to all PTHS seniors who were selected for All-State Choir during any of their PTHS years, who timely apply for the scholarship by the deadline established by PTHS, and who have unmet financial need (as determined by each student's college of choice). After the scholarship deadline has passed, PTHS will determine the scholarship pool from the Endowment's annual gift. Each senior's college will receive that student's pro-rated share of that year's scholarship pool, which sum will be applied to that student's account at his/her college of choice.

Frank Dillow taught vocal music at Pontiac Township High School from 1969 until 1984. Mr. Dillow trained and inspired the Madrigal singers and directed each years Musical at PTHS. Mr. Dillow enjoyed working with so many talented students who were willing to put in the time and work to develop their voices. These hardworking students allowed PTHS to win several state contest awards.

The Laura (Harding) Koppenhoefer AP5 Math Scholarship will be awarded in each year where a PTHS senior achieved a 5 on an AP exam in Calculus AB, Calculus BC or Statistics during any one of the student's years at PTHS, who timely applies for the scholarship by the deadline established by PTHS, and who has unmet financial need (as determined by each student's college of choice). After the scholarship deadline has passed, PTHS will determine the scholarship pool from the Endowment's annual gift. Each senior's college will receive that student's pro-rated share of that year's scholarship pool, which sum will be applied to that student's account at his/her college of choice.

Laura (Harding) Koppenhoefer graduated from PTHS in 1979 and was a lover of all things math, especially Fibonacci Sequences. Laura also loved all things music, played delightful characters in a variety of PTHS musicals, and spread holiday joy singing soprano as part of the PTHS Madrigal ensemble.

Laura made a difference in the lives of others - as a labor and delivery nurse, as a minister at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rock Island, Illinois, as a fundraiser for cancer research and as a wife to Rod and a mother to Erica and Sarah.

The PTHS AP5 Scholarships will be awarded in each year where a PTHS senior achieved a 5 on an AP exam in English, History, Chemistry, Biology, Art, Music Theory or any language during any one of the student's years at PTHS, who timely applies for the scholarship by the deadline established by PTHS, and who has unmet financial need (as determined by each student's college of choice). After the scholarship deadline has passed, PTHS will determine the scholarship pool from the Endowment's annual gift. Each senior's college will receive that student's pro-rated share of that year's scholarship pool, which sum will be applied to that student's account at his/her college of choice.
