As he worked on the design, Ryan worked to incorporate all the lessons learned throughout his last semester in Professor Josh Lowe’s class.
“When thinking about the design, one of the words that stuck out was value,” Ryan said. “From here, the thought was a diamond. This shows the value within the community that IPCF brings to the region.”
With the diamond representing value, there are also 25 individual diamonds within the larger diamond signifying each of IPCF’s 25 years. “I wanted to create a logo that would be able to stand the test of time and to create a clean and comfortable logo that could be used in many designs,” he said.
“It was such a fun project to work on,” said Ryan, “and I am thankful to have a professor who was invested in the classroom and willing to be a part of the entire creative process, step by step.”
“Thank you so much for this opportunity,” he said. “I am excited to see where Illinois Prairie Community Foundation will be in another 25 years!”
