Addressing Food Insecurity in Pontiac

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023
U of I Extension Office, Pontiac

 

The forum, which will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., will focus on food insecurity in this inaugural Women to Women community forum in Pontiac. The public forum is free and open to the public.

Panelists will be:

  • Baylee Ritter, owner of Everyone’s Collective in Pontiac
  • Tina Hammer of Pontiac Salvation Army
  • Mackenzie Coates and Riley Foster, Pontiac Township High School students who presented the concept for the food forest to the Pontiac City Council

Due to the forecast for rain, the forum has been moved indoors to the U of I Extension Office, 1412 S. Locust St., Pontiac.
