CELEBRATING LOCAL PHILANTHROPY

Each November, Illinois Prairie Community Foundation celebrates local philanthropy with a Nonprofits Workshop and Philanthropy Celebration to honor our Philanthropists of the Year. The 2022 event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bloomington.

Register for the Nonprofit Workshop or Philanthropy Lunch at bottom of page.

These two events highlight IPCF's commitment to local philanthropy. The events kick off with a Nonprofits Workshop in the morning. The noontime Philanthropy Celebration event follows the workshop and honors the Philanthropists of the Year. In 2020, IPCF began awarding two Philanthropist(s) of the Year awards - one for Bloomington-Normal and another for outside the Twin Cities (other parts of McLean County, plus DeWitt, Livingston or Logan counties).

2022 NONPROFIT WORKSHOP

The topic of the 2022 IPCF Nonprofit Workshop is "Communicate, Colloborate, Connect: Invest in Building a Better Organization." Panelists will include Holly Ambuehl of Forefront, Eddie Breitweiser of pt.fwd, Victoria Padilla of Regional Office of Education #17 and Brian Wipperman of Marcfirst. A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion, with two rounds of table discussions on various communication topics wrapping up the event.

The workshop will take place from 8:30-11:30 a.m., with check-in and breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. Cost of the workshop is $30 per person; two people from the same nonprofit organization may attend for the price of one.
