In 2010, the Board of Directors identified five fields of interest for which they wished to focus their efforts on endowment-building: Arts and Culture, Education, Environment, Health and Wellness, and Youth.
The board recognizes that youth represent our future and that they need to be supported in every way possible to become community and business leaders, entrepreneurs, critical thinkers, and compassionate, philanthropic citizens. IPCF youth grants support programs at nonprofit organizations that create and enhance opportunities for educational, physical and emotional development of youth.
Money for annual youth grants comes from the Ives Family Foundation Youth Endowment and contributions to IPCF's Annual Campaign. Once the Illinois Prairie Youth Endowment reaches endowed status, its annual distributions will be added to the funds available to support excellent programs that focus on youth.
Please help us build the Illinois Prairie Youth Endowment so that even more can be done.
