Giving to Illinois Prairie Community Foundation is one of the easiest ways you can be philanthropic and support our community. The Community Foundation allows you to establish a fund that will be overseen within the larger foundation. Illinois Prairie Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, public charity managed by a small staff and board of directors who evaluate and assess emerging community needs and support donors who want to support and fulfill those needs.

Donor Advised Funds
Enable donors to have ongoing involvement in the use of charitable gifts to the Community Foundation.
Endowed Funds
Principal remains intact while only a portion of fund's earnings are available to be spent each year
Fiscal Sponsorship Funds
An alternative to starting your own non profit, where the Community Foundation sponsors a project
Field of Interest Fund
A fund that is used for a specific charitable purpose such as education or health research
